Mrs. Yolanda Chavez Palomarez, age 78, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away Friday evening, February 14, 2019, at her residence.

She was born September 11, 1941, in Bisbee, Arizona, a daughter of the late Francisco J. Garcia and Enriqueta Chavez Gonzales.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband, Rosario A. Palomarez; brothers, Manuel "Manny" Gonzales and Reynaldo "Nalo" Gonzales; and sister, Norma Gonzales.

She was a member of Santa Monica Catholic Parish, and a homemaker.  She enjoyed arts, crafts, cooking and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Yolanda is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Rosario "Chayito" Palomarez, Reyes "Peter" Palomarez, George and Pat Palomarez, and Vince and Jackie Guerra; grandchildren, George, Carlos and Lisa Palomarez; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Raul "Suki" Gonzales, Michael Gonzales and Eva Murillo. She also leaves many other family members, god children and friends who will sadly miss her.
