Yolanda Garcia, age 88, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Yolanda Garcia was born January 28, in a small town in the northwest of the Mexican State of Sonora where her father was a talented instrumentalist.  She learned to play the piano and occasionally would hear her play Fur Elise by Beethoven.  Growing up she belonged to Club Esmeralda and often would share stories of those treasured times in her life.  For over 10 years, she was an Avon Representative and received numerous awards.  Her most memorable job was being a daycare provider for the neighborhood children as well as children in the family.  She loved caring for children.  She was a woman of faith, devoted to Christ and to Mother Mary, and a proud United States Citizen.  All who met her remember her as loving, kind, and pure of heart. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Armando H. Garcia; daughters: Susie Garcia, Yolanda Garcia, and Lupita Garcia; grandchildren: Matthew Garcia and his fiancé Alexis Felix, Courtney Gendron and her husband Joseph Gendron; great-grandchildren: Eliseo Gendron and Elena Gendron.
