IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William V.
Lopez
December 19, 1943 – August 5, 2020
William (Bill, Billy) V. Lopez passed on August 5, 2020. Born in Tucson, Arizona December 19, 1943.
Survived by his wife, Matha Keesee, his sister, Diana Pacheco and his 3 children; Kimberly Heredia (Beto), Thomas Lopez (Gavi), Theresa Yniguez (Cheo), 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and many more cousins.
Bill was a big sports fan. He loved them all but he favored his Football. He worked hard at anything he did.
At 45 years of age he went back to college to get his B.A. degree and teaching credential, along with many other recognitions and awards. He taught 5 th grade in Pima County, and in his younger years, was a barber in his own barber shop in California.
Bill was a world traveler. He loved the casinos, and did well He overcame his fear of heights (kinda) and jumped out of an airplane. Bill could quote a line from any movie and tell you who stared were. He had a photographic memory and was great at remembering people. HE was a simple man and would say things like, "Don't sweat the small stuff". His word was gold. If he said he'd do something for you. You can bet it would be done. He would say, "Don't do things half-A***." He believed in always giving 110% in everything he did.
He will greatly be missed by all.
