90 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 24, 2013. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Ramirez. Survived by her sons, Henry (Annette), Joseph (Lori); Grandchildren, Bridgette, Brittney, Brianne and Tristan Ramirez. Virginia was a native Tucsonan, born and raised in Barrio Anita. She took great pride in being one of the original Barrio Anita families. Virginia was a dedicated military wife who always supported her Marine husband as he served our country. She worked for TUSD for many years, and then retired to enjoy her grandchildren. Virginia will be remembered for her ability to enjoy life to the fullest. Her beautiful smile and loving heart will be greatly missed by all.
