IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Virginia J.
Fragoso
June 10, 1934 – January 29, 2025
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Virginia Jaime Fragoso was ushered by angels into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 29, 2025. Virginia was born on June 10, 1934 in El Valle de Tacupeto, Sonora, México to Juan Jaime and María Del Rosario García. She was married to Manuel Fragoso for 58 years before he passed.
Virgina had an unbreakable love for her family and friends. She took great delight in listening to traditional Mexican music and could not resist the urge to dance wherever she was. She had an adventurous spirit which led her to explore Europe and journey through central México to the pyramids and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Then on her 80th birthday she ventured on an Alaskan cruise with her daughters.
Virginia was an exceptional cook and crafter always sharing her food and crafts with others. She was an amazing caretaker and dedicated herself to helping others. She was active member in her beloved Barrio Hollywood and named "Nana del Barrio". She was a devout parishioner at St. Margaret's Church praying for others and reading the Bible daily. She was a nurturing and compassionate soul always loving and caring for her dogs and any animals that came in her path.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Manuel Fragoso, her son Alejandro Fragoso, her sisters, Eva Lopez, Esperanza Jaime Smith, and her brothers Jesús Jaime, Isaías Jaime, and Juan Jaime.
She is survived by her sister María Del Refugio (Cuca) Guzmán, her son, Manuel Fragoso, her daughters Ramona Coy (Steve), Leticia Padias (Joe), Virgina Kloster (Jim), Grandchildren Celeste Mills (James), Frank Siqueiros, Katrina Sepulveda (Fernando), Joseph Padias (Angelica), Nicole Fragoso, Elysa Fragoso, Danielle Fragoso, Alejandro Fragoso, Lauren Losch (Justin), and Natalie Kloster. Great grandchildren James and Kaia Mills, Fernando and Marina Sepulveda and Layla Padias.
We will miss her contagious laughter and witty sense of humor. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
