Obituary

Valentin M. Valenzuela, 95, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Virginia Camacho, his parents, Valentin and Inocencia Valenzuela. His brothers, Ventura, Jesus "Chono" and Robert Valenzuela. His sisters, Isabel "Chavela" Yanez, and Terry Rivera. Survived by his daughters, Debbie and Sally (Luis) Valenzuela, Grand-daughters, Virginia Mireles, Catherine Holmes (Frankie), his grandson, Jose Luis Camacho (Inez), his great-grandson, Armando Mireles, his great-grand-daughter, Kassandra Camacho, his great-great-grand-daughters, Lj and Jo-Jo. His two sisters, Norma (Danny) Acevedo and Mary (Alex) Sanchez along with many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Valentin served our country in the US Army. He worked in construction for many years, he was a tata/grandfather to many friends of his granddaughters. He loved to play bingo twice a week and watch his western movies on TV. His most beloved gifts were time spent with his family and making them laugh. If you had the chance to meet him, you would find it early on it was a lifelong friendship.

Visitations will be held at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary North Chapel (Midsize) 240 South Stone Ave., on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, between 5pm and 9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Final viewing will be held at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary on Friday, August 11th, 2023, from 8:00am to 9:30am with a mass following at St. Johns Evangelist Church, 602 W Ajo Way, with internment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd.
