Tito Manuel Martinez 78, of Tucson passed away July 25, 2022. Preceded in death by parents, Toribio and Carmen Martinez; brothers, Tony and Albert Martinez. Survived by his wife, Rosemary Martinez; daughters, Clarissa (Steven) Mendoza and Tricia (Richard) Nogales; son, Michael (Stephanie) Martinez; brother, Frank Martinez; grandchildren, Taylor, Lito, Miranda, Reyna, Evan, Zack, Avery, Jordan and Cody. Also survived by numerous family and friends.
Tito met his wife Rosemary of 54 years, they enjoyed going on long car rides around town, going out to eat dinner and gardening. Most importantly, they loved to spend time together. He loved his wife unconditionally and gave his heart to her forever. They had 3 children: two daughters Clarissa & Tricia and a son Michael. In the years they shared many happy memories and laughter. He was a devoted husband/father who loved his family. He taught his children to love and support one another and that family values come first.
Tito had 9 grandchildren, he attended every school performance, cheer competitions, baseball and basketball games. He was their biggest fan and was always so proud of them. He was there for school pick-ups then off to lunch at McDonald's and ice cream at Dairy Queen. He enjoyed celebrating family milestones such as birthday's, graduations and award ceremonies. He spent many hours reading books, playing board games and watching many Disney movies. Being with family and making memories was his priority and joy. He was always willing to do anything for his grandchildren to spend quality time with them.
In addition to being hardworking husband, father and grandfather, Tito retired from the City of Tucson (30 years) and The Army National Guard (26 years). His many years of service provided his family a loving home. He was a role model, and his work ethic provided an example on responsibility and loyalty to his family.
Tito was a humble, loving and caring man. His contagious smile and presence brought joy to everyone who met him. He was the BEST of the BEST and will be greatly missed by all.
