Our family is deeply saddened to announce the death of Tessie E. Trevino on April 4, 2024. Tessie died suddenly at the age of 78.

Born in Tucson, Arizona in January 1946 to parents, Martin and Helen Trevino, she lived in Tucson most of her life. Tessie graduated from Pueblo High School, and retired from the City of Tucson City Clerk's Office after working there over 20 years. She loved to spend her time in her garden, reading and watching Hallmark movies. She enjoyed going to the movie theater, and spending time with family and friends.  She had a great love for dogs and was the proud owner of numerous pets throughout her life. She had a grand sense of adventure and loved to travel to new places. Tessie was an extremely friendly and gregarious person, who had many long-lasting friendships. Tessie was a true light in this world, and will be greatly missed. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

She is survived by her sisters, Christina (Jaris) Swinford and Martha (Joe) Tyra. Her niece, Ashley Swinford, and nephews; Jaris (Diana) Swinford Jared (Jess) Swinford, Joey (Sandra) Tyra, and Brian (Lupita) Tyra. Tessie is preceded in death by her parents, and nephew Richard Tyra. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Misty.
