Sylvia Valencia Aguayo, 86 passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025. She was born in Tucson on February 18, 1939 and was a proud Tucson native with many fond memories of growing up in the city. Family, good friends, and her catholic faith were always at the center of her life.

She is survived by her daughter Therese and son-in-law Michael Cummins, many cousins, and good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Tessie Valencia, sister Alice and Gus Lopez, and her nephew Robert "Bobby" Lopez.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 10 am on June 11, 2025, with internment at Holy Hope Cemetery at 11:45 am on the same day.  Flowers can be sent to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church prior to the funeral mass.
