Stella S.
Jacobs
February 8, 1936 – April 25, 2026
Stella S. Jacobs born in Casa Grande, AZ February 8, 1936 entered into eternal rest on April 25, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Lionel Jacobs; children, Leo (Tina) Jacobs, Cora Lee (Jim) Findley, Melissa (Raymond) Quiroz, Linda (Frank) Perez; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by mother Rosa Boot, father Peter Saldivar, and brothers Antonio B. Saldivar and Carlos B. Saldivar.
Stella’s devotion to her husband was unmatched. She loved him deeply and cared for him with unwavering dedication throughout their life together.
She was an extraordinary example to her family, especially her children. While raising her family, she pursued higher education, earning her bachelor’s in education and later a Master’s in Reading. She was a devoted mother—always guiding, listening, and offering thoughtful advice – solicited or not.
Family was the center of Stella’s life. She cherished teaching the younger generations how to make tamales and other traditional foods, while also sharing her faith and life lessons with all who gathered around her.
Stella had a deep passion for music and education. As a teacher, she inspired countless students, encouraging them to grow and excel. Her annual music and dance recitals were a highlight, often featuring costumes she lovingly made herself.
She was known for her generosity, especially through her baking—her banana bread was a staple at family gatherings and celebrations. She also ensured yearly that children who are less fortunate had access to school supplies.
Stella touched many lives with her kindness, strength, and grace. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy will live on through all who knew and loved her.
She was the BEST!
