Sonia D. Contreras was taken unexpectedly August 8, 2023, at the age of 52 in Tucson Arizona.

Sonia was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and granddaughter, most of all she adored being a wife.  Additionally, Sonia enjoyed being Airport Security Screener even after 20 years of service to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Sonia will be deeply missed for the love her husband, her kindness, her sharing, and her willingness to give.

Sonia enjoyed music, dancing, camping, the beach and was famous for her amazing "hot" salsa.

Sonia is survived by her husband, Joe Contreras, her parents, Jesus and Guadalupe Davilla, her brother Jesus Javier Davilla, Uncle Jose "Pepe" Jr and Silva Miranda and is proceeded by her grandmother Elvira V. and Jose Miranda.

Sonia was a powerful woman and will be deeply missed by all who she touched!
