Socorro Lopez Borboa, with heavy hearts, announce her passing to peaceful eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer on October 19, 2024. Socorro was born on December 24, 1938.

Beloved wife, mother, sister, nana, great-grandmother, and tia. Preceded in death by husband Mike Borboa, son Joseph "Jeppy" Vidal, daughter Teresa Frausto, grandson Rey R. Trinidad Jr. and granddaughter Briana Vidal.

Survived by Barbara (Rey) Trinidad, Manny (Kathy) Frausto, Marcos (Cassandra) Frausto, Mirna (John) Ramos, Christina Borboa, Debbie (Joe) Mejia, as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Also preceded in death by parents Jesus and Mary Lopez, brother Jesus (Bebo) Lopez, brother in laws Richard Vidal and Henry Fuentes. Also survived by brother Edward (Olivia) Lopez and sisters Mary Lillian Fuentes and Delia Lopez Vidal.

Socorro began work as a Patient Care Technician at Tucson General Hospital, she also proceeded and retired at the age of 70 from St. Mary's Hospital.

Socorro will be deeply missed. Her memory of strength and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. We would like to thank our family and friends for your support. Especially Harmony Hospice for all their love, care and support for our mother.
