Socorro Garcia Aldecoa, 92 returned to her heavenly home peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones on March 4, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and much loved friend to many. Her love and devotion to her family and her firm belief in God was of utmost importance. Socorro was born on September 16, 1930, in Magdalena, Sonora, she had 8 siblings and lots of nieces, nephews and family whom she loved and cared for dearly.

She was a very compassionate, generous, kind and hard-working woman. She was the true force behind her family and the special part in all the treasured memories we hold within our hearts. She will be greatly missed.

Socorro is survived by her children: Maria Elena (Rene), Francisco (Jesusita), Rosa (Victor), Patricia (Rudy II+) and Mercedes (Paul). Her grandchildren: Celina, Carlos, Jesusita (William), Anthony, Rudy III, Amanda, Adam and Monica and great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Rudy IV, and Lorenzo. She is preceded in death by her husband: Higinio, great-great grandchildren Elio and Elian, parents: Pablo and Julia Garcia and siblings: Paula, Mery, Ramon, Cecilia, Francisco, Abundio, Belia and Jesus.
