Sandra Lanell O'Donnell died November 5, 2015 at her home in Tucson, AZ with her family by her side. Sandra was born in Henderson, TX on September 19, 1944 to William T. and Ruth Daugherty. Her father was a railroad telegraph operator for Texas Pacific Railroad, and her mother was a beauty shop owner. Both lived in Van Horn, TX and later moved to El Paso, TX. Sandra graduated from Van Horn High School in 1962, moved to El Paso, TX and went to work as a stenographer in the purchasing department for El Paso Natural Gas Co. where she later met her husband, Patrick O'Donnell III. They were married February 24, 1968. During her employment there, she was given the honor of representing the Gas Co. during holiday parades and special events around the city of El Paso. After marrying Patrick she became a homemaker. Sandra later opened and operated her own business, Ceramics By Sandee. Sandra is survived by her husband Patrick, her two sons Patrick Allen and Kelly Ryan, and their spouses Maribel Mona and Stacey Marie respectively, her brother Stanley Daugherty and his wife Starlin, plus five grandchildren and fourteen nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to any worthy cancer research institute, or to the San Xavier del Bac Mission in Tucson, AZ. Sandra lived her life by always placing others before herself. She was very strong in her faith and loved everyone she met. Please help us by keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
