Sandra Moraga
Gonzales
August 26, 1963 – January 20, 2022
We lost a beautiful soul to the gates of heaven our beloved daughter, mother grandmother, sister, tia and friend Sandra M. Gonzales has begun her new journey home. She left us at the age of 59, on January 20, 2022.
Survived by her mother Alicia M. Gonzales, and late father Manuel Y. Gonzales, son Antonio G. Cazares, daugher in law Artemisa M. Cazares, grandson Alexander M. Cazares, partner Joe Leon, brothers Pedro (Letitia), David (Elsa), Hector (Eva); sisters the late Nellie, the late Cecilia Contreras, Luz (Robert), Yolanda (Eleazar), Alicia (Jon), Silvia (Miguel), Goddaughter Bridget D. Duran, the late Godson, James Ford and many nieces and nephews.
She was one of two siblings who had the privilege of being born at home on Meyer street in Barrio Viejo, a place the family calls home and where many childhood memories were lived.
Sandra lived a happy and fulfilling life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving daughter and sister and loyal and sincere to those in her life. She loved singing, hearing music and dancing. Sandra was a beautiful woman with a kind soul and giving heart who always said "God Bless You."
Sandra began working at a young age and worked in different positions throughout her professional life. She connected herself to work that would allow her to help others and give back in a positive way. Her outgoing personality would light up the room and her beautiful smile transpired love and warmth.
She especially devoted her time to raising her son Antonio who she protected and loved unconditionally. Her greatest joy and pride was her only grandson Alexander who gave her hope and happiness. Our beloved Sandra touched many lives and leaves behind a lasting and rich legacy. May she rest in peace.
