With shattered hearts we honor Samuel O. Salazar. Samuel fought for our country, he was a purple heart recipient, who was a combat medic in the Korean war. He was so proud to be a part of something bigger than himself. He was a proud veteran and an honorable man. Samuel was a loyal husband, extraordinary father, amazing grandfather, devoted brother, caring uncle, loving godfather, and genuine friend. He was always there to listen to you, give advice, assure you everything was okay and offer you that big smile he was known for. One person can have an impact on so many people lives and Samuel was that person!  Samuel went to be with our Lord on May 18th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his loving and adoring wife Magdalena T. Salazar, his parents Pedro and Julia Salazar, brothers; Pete, Pablo and Albert Salazar and sister Estella Palafox. His eldest son, Sammy, his grandchildren Lliana, Clarissa and Francisco (Kiko). He leaves behind his surviving sibilings, Helen, Frankie and Amelia. Leaving his children, Leticia (Sammy+), Mamie, Letty, Sergio (Eliza), Gerardo (Irma), Roberto (Rosie), and Armando (Anita). His grandchildren; Sammy "Dyie" (Daniela), Letty "CutItOut" (Victor), Gaby "Chubbs" (Savannah), Oscar "Fluffy", Juan "Blas", Tutie "ChinoViejoPelosParados" (Maria), Mimi "La Nina" (Chico), Junior "Petie" (Michelle), Anika "AttoMyBaby", 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

The memory of our dad and tata will live for ever. He was a man of honor, morals, respect and family! A man that put God first, his family second and himself last.
