Salvador Jaquez, Jr. a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 83. Born on December 20, 1941, in El Paso, Texas, where he grew up and later met the love of his life Esther C. Jaquez and they were married on March 19, 1968.

As a proud member of Carpenters Local 857, Salvador dedicated over 55 years to his craft as a carpenter. His commitment to his career was only overshadowed by his greatest accomplishments, which was being a devoted husband and raising his two beautiful twin daughters Laura Ann Jaquez-Tapia (Alfred) and Norma Jean Jaquez-Cabrera (Richard), whom he loved and cherished deeply. His love and dedication as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather made him the patriarch of their family, demonstrating an unwavering strength and devotion that inspired everyone around him.

Salvador moved to Tucson and built his wife Esther and his twin daughters a gorgeous home where both him and his wife passed away peacefully surrounded by their loved ones.

He is survived by his twin daughters, grandchildren, Alexandria (Allie) Ester Vizzerra, Antonio Jesus Vizzerra, Salvador Carlos Martinez (Perla), Charles (Itos) Martinez, Jr., as well as his great grandchildren, McKayla Renee Nunez, Arianie Lynae Hernandez, Alexandria Mia Hernandez, Antonio Jesus Vizzerra, Jr. and Nevaeh Zitlali Martinez. Salvador is also remembered fondly by his brothers, Ricardo Jaquez (Lupe), Hector Jaquez (Lupe) and Juan Melendez (Loretta). He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Esther C. Jaquez, his father Salvador Jaquez Sr, and mother Maria Antonia Guzman Jaquez.

He was a hard-working man and provider for his family. They always had what they needed and wanted and then some. He was also a very generous and humane man to everyone he encountered. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved listening to music, and dancing alongside with his beloved Esther. As well as taking care of his her until she passed. He was an avid historian and loved watching the History Channel. His million-dollar smile and laugh would light up a room. He was a funny man with his snarky and dark sense of humor. He was always the life of the party. He enjoyed eating his Orange Chicken and noodles from Panda Express and taking his shot of tequila at the stroke of midnight on New Year's.

Salvador was a handsome, self-less, loving, strong and gregarious man who will be missed immensely by all who were apart of his life.

The family wishes to extend an invitation to everyone for a Celebration of Life ceremony to commemorate Salvador's life. The celebration will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Studio Space Tucson, 4648 E. Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85712.
