Sally Elias Yanes, age 95, passed away on February 3, 2024 in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Sally was born to Manuel G. Elias and Carmen Lopez on July 13, 1928 and was the younger sister to Manuela (Nellie) Clark (deceased) and Socorro (Sukie) Flores (deceased) of Tucson. Loving wife of deceased Geronimo (Jerry) Yanes.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Angie (Linda) Neyland, of Tucson and son, Steven Yanes of Tucson.  Predeceased by her older son, Jerry Yanes of Tucson and daughter, Rosemary Yanes of Tucson. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Joshua Allen Neyland; his wife, Stacy Neyland and Jordan Bradley Neyland, and great-grandson, Kai Elijah Neyland. Sally is the great-great-granddaughter of Cornelio Elias, who settled in the Tucson area in the late 1700′s. Sally (affectionately known as "Mama Nina" by her loved ones) will be dearly missed by her family and friends who will always remember her, loving kindness and generosity and great devotion and love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
