Rutila was a reserved woman with deep strength who lived a hard life. She sacrificed everything for those she loved. A devout Catholic, her faith was the foundation of her life. She showed her love through her cooking, nourishing not just bodies, but hearts.

She is survived by her five children, her sister, her brother, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
