IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rudy L.
Monreal
April 2, 1933 – May 30, 2025
Rudy Monreal, 92, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025. He was born April 2, 1933 to Carlos and Margaret Monreal in Tucson, Arizona and has been a lifelong resident of the city he loved.
Rudy was a devoted husband, father, brother, Tata, and friend to many, who lived a life full of joy, laughter, and love. He enjoyed early morning tee times with family and friends out on the golf course, hunting, fishing, bowling, long poker games, trips to Laughlin with his wife, and watching all of the U of A sporting events. He was a dedicated member of the Mexican American Golf Association (MAGA) for over 40 years. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family- especially running errands and having pizza parties with his grandchildren.
Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Lou, his children; Rudy Jr., Regina (Silver), and Debra (Chris), his siblings; Carlos, Martin and Martha, and beloved grandchildren; Karina, Christopher, and Alexis. We will continue to carry on his memory of kindness, love, and devotion.
Rudy will always be remembered for his warm heart and sense of humor. He leaves behind a family who will miss him dearly and will hold onto a lifetime of memories of him.
May he rest in peace as God continues to bless and protect him.
"I've made it to the 19th hole. A few good friends are already here and I'll be waiting for the rest of you when your round is done."
