Roy C Ramos (1936-2024) passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, and rose to heaven by God's grace on June 2nd. Born in Tucson, Arizona, to parents now deceased, José Arballo Ramos and Frances Cruz Ramos, he is survived by his dearest Cruzita Peña Ramos, mother of his children: daughters Sandra (Fernando †) Robles and Rebecca (Ruben) Rivera, and son Roy Ramos (Jr.); seven grandchildren Enrique Figueroa, Eliseo Rivera, Vanessa Figueroa, Orlando Ramos, Crystalyn (Rivera) Soucie, Sergio Rivera, and Edward Ramos; nine great-grandchildren Ariyana Rivera, Fabian Puentes, Abel Ramos, Andrés Rivera, Kale Rivera, Jazlene Ramos, Ava Soucie, Nathaniel Ramos, and Maeze Ramos.

He was an honored Navy veteran who served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Shangri-La, a great provider for his wife and children, respected in his profession as a structural steel fabricator, a skilled golfer, and a talented singer-guitarist who could often be found nurturing his beautifully manicured yard or barbecuing for his family and friends. Roy was a very generous man and he willfully surrendered his life to Christ in whose presence he now rests and awaits us.

Funeral services at Our Lady of Fatima Parish on June 20, 2024 at 11:00am with reception to follow.

Donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the honor of Roy C Ramos are welcomed in lieu of flowers.
