With great sadness we share the passing of Rosie Flores on July 31, 2022. A strong and supportive woman who always had a smile, great advice and good conversation. She always knew what to say to make you feel at ease and her words of wisdom lingered throughout your lives. She had advice for everyone whether you wanted to hear it or not, but always had the best intentions for you.
She married her High School sweetheart, Gilbert Flores of 40 years. They were inseparable and had an unconditional love that was special, beautiful and strong. They welcomed two daughters Cynthia and Vanessa and were fully involved in their sport activities where they rarely missed a game. They coached baseball, softball and basketball and positively impacted many lives.
She loved her family with all her heart and rules did not apply to her to make the impossible happen. Her grandchildren were her world, her babies, and she did anything for them just to see them so happy. She took them to and from school, went to every game, every tournament and was their biggest fans!
She was preceded in death by her parents Artemiza Garcia and Luis Garcia; her brothers Louie Garcia, Hector Garcia, Sergio Garcia and Carlos Garcia. She is survived by her husband Gilbert Flores; her daughters Cynthia Yerger (Patrick Yerger), Vanessa Flores; her brothers David Garcia (Staci Garcia), Frank Garcia and Miguel Garcia; her sister Mary Mitchell; her grandchildren Lynessa Moore, June Yerger and Jude Yerger; and many nieces and nephews.
