It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Annette Pillarelli announce her passing on October 17, 2024, at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson in Tucson, AZ.

Rose was proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years Jerry Victor Pillarelli.  She is survived by her children Jerry Franklin, Susan Marie and her husband Phillip (Ramirez), Victoria Ann (Buckner) and her partner David Bolton; her grandchildren Phillip Ramirez Jr, Brandon Buckner and Alyssa Buckner; her sister Patricia Elaine and her husband Merle (Chollett). Rose was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rose Svoboda.

Rose was born in Duluth, MN on June 11, 1936. She married Jerry in 1956 and settled down in the Chicago suburb of Dolton to raise a family. In 1970 they moved the family to Tucson, Arizona where they purchased and ran a dry-cleaning/laundromat business. She worked in food service for Marriott for many years and later in life volunteered at the Desert Museum. Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Graveside service in the mausoleum at Holy Hope Cemetery on November 4th at 10am. Deacon Mike Gutierrez will officiate.  Lunch reception to follow at the home of Susan and Phillip Ramirez.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Rose's name.
