Romelia "Romie" Valencia went to be with our Lord and Savior at the age of 85 (February 25, 1938 – December 24, 2023). She attended Tucson High School. She worked for and retired from Flowing Wells School District. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church for over fifty years and served as eucharistic minister and was on the Arts and Environmental Committee. Romie was a deeply faithful woman and known by all as a prayer warrior.

She was dearly loved by family and friends. Romie is preceded by her husband, Victor R. Valencia, parents, Manuel and Armida Mireles; grandchildren, Michelle and Roland (Spanky) Molina; her sister Frances Munoz. She is survived by her daughters, Regina (Luis Jr.) Lara, Christina (Frank) Quiroga and Ernestina (Roland) Molina; grandchildren, Gabriel (Jessica) Lara, Michael Lara, Aaron (Dulce) Quiroga, Matthew Quiroga, Sandra Molina; and nine great grandchildren.

Romie's greatest love was for the Lord Jesus Christ and her greatest joy was family. Her legacy of faith, love, and joy will continue to bless us all.
