Roman Gutierrez Islas 54, born in Tucson, AZ on August 18th, 1967, passed on to a better life on July 16th, 2022. Predeceased by father Oscar.

Anyone who knew him could remember him cruising his Ford Thunderbird listening to his oldies and his all time favorite (Computer Love). As a young man, he spent much of his time on the baseball diamond as a pitcher, catcher and would eventually coach his son for several years later on. He was a very skilled man in and out of the home who loved to cook, was a successful welder, and helped his father with their family rental properties.

He was a very proud and loving father who did every thing he could for his son, even as his own health declined. He was very much loved and will be missed dearly.

Survived by son Roman Gabriel, mother Silvia, brothers Oscar and Miguel, and sister Susanna. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
