Robin Marslender Long, 62, of Tucson, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 15, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer during which she defied the odds, spending as much time with loved ones as she could.

Born on October 3, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Arthur and Katherine Long, she grew up in Tucson, AZ. She started her career in banking where she managed a local credit union and later had two kids and transitioned to a full time mom.

Robin was a compassionate soul, always going out of her way for the people she loved. She had a lifelong passion for music and gardening, finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature and melody. Robin was an astute bargain shopper, always knowing where to find the best deals. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, nurturing their growth and making lasting memories. Robin also loved visiting the beach, where she found peace in the sound of the crashing waves. Back at home, she shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Bella, who was a faithful companion and brought additional joy and comfort to her life.

She is survived by her children, Chris Marslender (wife Katrina) and Shannon Marslender; grandchildren, Milo and Ellie Marslender; siblings, Brian Long (wife Barb), Karin Maslana, and Kevin Long; Michael Marslender, with whom she shared a lasting bond of friendship following their marriage; and her many nieces, nephews, and friends. All who knew her will miss her dearly.
