Robert Henry Shaffo was born on June 30th, 1947 to Elsie Jane and Robert Thomas Shaffo, in Pennsylvania. Robert, a proud father, uncle and son passed peacefully on November 8th, 2025, at home in Sahuarita, Arizona. Robert was known affectionately as Bob to all, and took pride in his work as a senior information systems analyst at Raytheon for over 40 years. Here he was regularly praised for his work ethic and willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Bob was also a devout Catholic and was active in his local parishes throughout his life. Bob loved his five children, card games with his nephews and long talks with family. He was also passionate about spending time in his garden, which he and his neighbors referred to as his oasis. He loved great music, and for a time, spent many happy years as a drummer. Bob is remembered by family and friends for his love of football, his desire to help others, his friendliness and sense of humor, and for his generosity.

Bob is survived by his brother and two sisters, his five children, two grandchildren, two nephews and close friends who will miss him very much.

On November 25th, 2025, a viewing and rosary will be held at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary and a mass will be held at the St. Augustine Cathedral of Tucson, Arizona. The family invites all to attend. In lieu of flowers the family recommends following Bob's lead in making a donation to his church San Martin de Porres, or to the EWTN.
