IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Burett
Oliver Iv
March 28, 1940 – May 27, 2025
Robert Oliver, a warm-hearted and caring man, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, after a long and fulfilling life. Known for his gentle spirit and joyful presence, Robert had a unique gift for spreading laughter—whether through his love for baseball or his simple, thoughtful gestures like wishing his children on his bus a good day before school.
Born in 1940 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Robert eventually moved west to Tucson, Arizona, where he became accustomed to short sleeves and shorts. He was an avid baseball coach for many with Randolph Little League, where he had a short stint as President of the League. His joy for the community led him to a 20-year commitment to TUSD, where he drove school kids as a bus driver. Through the 55 years he lived in Tucson, his love for the University of Arizona Wildcats became apparent and bled their blue and red colors.
Robert lived through a changing world, but the constants in his life were love, family, and storytelling. His greatest accomplishments were not in accolades or fame, but in the unwavering love and care he gave to his family. He had an exceptional talent for bringing stories to life, captivating anyone who had the pleasure of listening.
Robert is now reunited with his beloved wife, Clarissa, and his brother, David. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of his children: Martin (Stephanie), Richard (Leticia), and Brian (Diana). He is also remembered fondly by his grandchildren, Mario (Lisandra),Angelica, Tina, David, Kieth, and April, and his great granddaughter, Clarissa Lucia, who always put a smile on his face.
His life was a testament to kindness, family devotion, and the simple joys that make life meaningful. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
