Reymundo Raul Fernandez , 76, of Tucson Arizona, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Rey is survived by his wife, Petra of 52 years; son, Reymundo Fernandez Jr.; daughters, Judy (Manny) Aparicio, Mary (Frank Escalante) Fernandez, Bernadette (Danny) Suzarrey, Margaret (Marcos) Gutierrez, Patricia (Sean Carson) Otero;  Grandchildren, Mundo Fernandez, Austin Aparicio, Beatriz Gutierrez, Isabel Gutierrez, Bernadette Fernandez, Mia Suzarrey, Jayden Escalante, Galilea Fernandez;  Great-grandchildren, Emma, Sean, Andrew Carson, Jordan, Andrea, Natalie Fernandez.

Rey was a passionate man who loved being around his family especially his grandchildren.  In his spare time he would surprise his children at work to invite them to lunch, phoning them to wish them a wonderful day.  He enjoyed telling jokes, watching western movies, and driving his grandchildren to school. He believed that a good caldo would cure anything, but just not too much salt. He taught us family comes first, and at the end of the day family is all is all you have. He was the greatest husband, daddy, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

We will forever love and miss you, until we meet again Mi Rey.
