IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rene Jesus
Munoz
May 6, 1979 – June 6, 2022
Rene Munoz Obituary 6/6/2022
Rene Munoz passed away suddenly on 6-6-22 at the age of 43. He fought valiantly for the past year after being diagnosed with cirrhosis on 5/3/2021. He accomplished 1 year of sobriety and was waiting for a liver transplant to start a new life.
Rene is survived by his life partner and "soul mate" Jennifer. His 3 beautiful daughters Tiffany, Stephanie, and Emily. His two fur babies, Zona and Lyla. His sister Monica Munoz (Daniel), nieces Estrella, Jasmin, Melody, Savannah, Sabrina, and Jocelyn. Nephews Kaydin, Ricky and Nick. His great nieces and nephews Adriana, Isaiah, Ricky, and Aiden. His Grandma Helen. Aunts Laura and Cheryl and many loving cousins. As well as all his blended family he had with Jennifer.
Rene was born in Tucson Az and lived here his whole life. He enjoyed vacationing in California and going to the beaches. He was the ultimate girl dad and would do anything to protect his girls. They are and always will be his proudest accomplishment in life. He loved collecting Star Wars toys and memorabilia any chance he got. Often saying "we are going to sell these things and be rich someday". He was a big UFC fan and enjoyed collecting the action figures as well. Being raised in Arizona he was an all-Arizona fan. He spent more time watching the Az Cardinals football games together with Jennifer this year and had just bought matching t-shirts to wear this season. When he watched the Cardinals play, he was so proud to wear the Cardinal's logo any chance he got, win, or lose.
Rene worked in the restaurant industry most his life. He was a hard worker and took pride in every job he had. He loved customer service and making someone's day a little better. He had hopes to open his own food truck one day and be his own boss.
Rene is preceded in death by his mother Cindra, which he missed so dearly. His father James Munoz. His Aunt Debbie. His little sister Chelsea. His brothers Joshua, Jonathan, and his big brother, the one he looked up to, Rick.
Although we are truly heart broken at his passing, we will take peace in knowing that he is with his mother and siblings once again.
Rene my heart is broken. I love you and miss you so much!
Love you always and forever…..Jennifer
