Rene Miguel Armendarez, age 23, was tragically taken from his loving family on Feb. 6, 2025. A native Tucsonan he was born on Feb. 14, 2001. Rene was a loving son with a huge heart. He attended Rincon High School and loved the outdoors which led him to work in landscaping. He loved music, you would never see his headphones far from him and he liked classic cars. He was interested in learning about religion, finance and real estate. He loved children and his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Maria (Nini) Martinez. He is survived by his Mother, Carmen L Martinez and Stepfather, Jose J Martinez; Brothers, Jose and Armando; Sisters, Angelina, Elaiah and Faith; Father, Steven Maynes; Grandmother, Teresa Diaz; Grandfather, James Maynes; Grandmother, Rosa Reyna; Grandfather, Charles Taylor; Nino, David Mow and Nina, Crystal Ramirez. He leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rene, despite your struggles we are proud that you never stopped searching for answers and peace.

Eternal rest grant unto Rene, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May almighty God bless us with his peace and strength, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
