Regino
Ramirez
Jun 20, 1939 — Aug 10, 2017
On August 10th, 2017, Regino Ramirez left this world to faithfully follow his calling home. Born in San Luis Potosí Mexico as the youngest of the family, Regino made his way to Northern California where he enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 until 1967 when he was honorably discharged. Not soon after, fate would have him meet the woman who would eventually become his wife of over 50 years in San Francisco, California. After beginning their family, they relocated to Tucson, Arizona in the late 1970's. A successful business owner of Miners Machine shop, Regino actively showed his faith to God and our Savior Jesus Christ by becoming a member of the Masonic Lodge of Tucson. Along with his wife, Regino served faithfully and selflessly for years as an active parish member at Santa Monica, Saint Johns, Holy Family, and Santa Cruz Catholic Churches.
Regino is preceded in death by his parents, Regino and Guadalupe, and his mother-in-law, Susana. He leaves behind his loving wife, Luz; their children, R. Maximilano, Ruben, Raul, Rachel (Dominic), and Rosana, and his six adoring grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at the VA hospital, TMC, Sabino Canyon Rehab, and Davita for the genuine and loving care of their wonderful father. A special thank you to Father Thomas Reeves from Discalced Carmelites in Northern California who will be traveling to Tucson to officiate the funeral services for Regino. The Ramirez family is appreciative beyond words.
