Rebecca "Becky" T. Rivera

September 7, 1952 - May 28, 2024

Rebecca was born on September 7, 1952 in Douglas, Arizona and raised in Pirtleville until she moved to Tucson where she resided until her passing on May 28, 2024. She was a hard working, independent woman who worked for the US Border Patrol until she retired after 25 years of service in 2004. She had many life accomplishments and received numerous awards including several outstanding achievement awards and outstanding work ethic awards.

Rebecca was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents Bertha and Eduardo Rivera, brother Rene Rivera and nephew Ernie Rivera. Becky is survived by her sisters; Rachel (Alex) Sproule, Monica (Rene)Sierra, brothers; Eddie (Josie) and Rick (Ana) Rivera and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary and scripture service will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (North Chapel) at 9:30 am. A private burial service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Arizona Assisted Living Home and TMC Hospice for the quality care and graciousness provided to our beloved Becky.
