Obituary

Raymond Charles Carrillo, affectionately nicknamed "Blue", peacefully passed away on March 14, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona.  Charles was a resilient U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, a proud member of the Teamsters Local 104, and a dedicated Transit Driver for Sun Tran for 27 years.

He is survived by his cherished, beloved wife, Patricia Carrillo; his son, Daniel Carrillo and grandson, Gabriel Garcia-Carrillo, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues, who held him dear.  Charles will be warmly remembered for his strength, open-mindedness, sincerity and contagious laughter, that left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A funeral service to honor his life will take place on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary.  Visitation will be held from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, followed by a Rosary and Mass at 9:30 am at St. Augustine's Cathedral, Interment will then proceed at Holy Hope Cemetery Mausoleum.

A Memorial Reception will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at American Legion Post 68, 4724 S. 12th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85714.
