IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ramona "Monchi"
R. Cranz
October 16, 1934 – November 4, 2024
Ramona Cranz passed away peacefully in her home on November 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Ramona, known as Monchi to her family and friends, was the beloved mother of five children, grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of six. Born on October 16, 1934 in Ruby, Arizona, the youngest of five, Ramona was the last surviving member among her siblings. Monchi dedicated her life to her family and friends and her home was always filled with love, laughter and the delicious aromas of her favorite recipes. Her love for cooking was one of the many ways she expressed her care for others. Family gatherings were her happiest times, especially when she was making her famous tamales, tacos, rice and potato salad which brought everyone together around the table. These meals made with love and dedication became treasured family traditions that will be cherished and passed down for generations. Monchi is preceded in death by her husband, Nazib "Nazy" her daughter Nadine and her son Nick. She is survived by her remaining children, Nazib Jr. (Kim), Richard "Jay," Anna (Mick), her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to honor her memory.
Monchi will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and her ability to make everyone feel welcome in her home. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and countless memories that her family and friends will carry in their hearts. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she has found peace and that her spirit will live on through the love she shared with each of them.
The family would especially like to thank mom's dear friend Jeannine Sanders and Casa Del Luz for their support and assistance during moms final days. Your love and compassion for mom during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.
