Rafael Bencomo Perez, 70 years old, a resident of Pima, AZ entered into eternal rest Saturday June 12, 2021 at Peppi's House in Tucson, Arizona after a lengthy illness.  Rafael was born on October 19 ^th , 1950 in Matachi, Chihuahua Mexico to Aurora and Felix Perez.

He came to the United States when he was 18 years old and worked in Agriculture irrigation until he retired at the age of 67.  Rafael was a hard worker and was very dedicated to his job. Even in the Arizona heat, you would find him in the fields everyday so he could provide for his family. He always joked around and always wanted to go on hunting trip.   He loved to talk and have conversations with people.  Even in his final days of life, Rafael was optimistic he would get better and get back to his normal life.

He is survived by his children Rafael Perez Jr. Saul Perez,  Frank Garcia, Paola Perez and Becky (Seth) Parrish and 23 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Aurora Perez, his wife Celia Perez and his son Roy Perez.

A celebration of Rafael's life will be celebrated on Monday June 28 ^th , 2021.  The rosary will be held at 9:30am to 10am and the funeral mass from 10a to 11am at St. Augustine's Cathedral in Tucson.  Rafael will have a private burial service at the Pima cemetery in Pima, AZ at a later date.  The family would like to thank everyone who called and offered prayers during this difficult time.
