On June 13, 2026, we became saddened by the passing of Rachel A. Bracamonte. She was preceded in death by husband Pedro Bracamonte and parents Miguel and Rosario Aguilera. She is survived by her five children: Debra(Abelardo) Llamas, Peter(Sylvia), Gerald(Pegi), Chris, and Lisa, sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also, survived by her sister's Mary, Irene, brother Miguel and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rachel worked for Tucson Unified School District for approximately 15 years as a Cafeteria Manager. She always believed no child should go hungry and fed any child who walked in the cafeteria and said they were hungry, no matter what time it was throughout the school day. She owned and operated Brac’s cleaning with her husband Pedro up until her retirement.

Rachel’s favorite pastime was crocheting while listening and singing along with her Mariachi and Ranchera music. She loved the outdoors and spent summers camping with the family. She enjoyed watching football and picked the team to win with the prettiest color jersey, often jinxing the team we were rooting for. She also cherished her volunteer work at Our Lady Queen of All Saints as a Catechist and singing with the Choir.

Mom was sometimes called “Mother Theresa” because of her kindness and love for everyone. She welcomed everyone we brought home, making them feel loved, accepted, and truly part of our family. She also gave the best “Zerberts” ever! Mom also enjoyed her Daiquri’s, Margarita’s and when in Spring Creek, ice cold Beers from Winger’s. Mom, Nana, Wita, Wata, as you used to say “El Senior de los Caminos be with you,” as you now embark on your peaceful journey with Dad. We Love and Miss you Mucho Mucho……We Love you MORE!!!!!
