95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loved ones and caregivers. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Rachel leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Andrade; parents, Paulino and Dominga Castañeda; sister, Carmen; brothers, Manuel, Paul and Pete Castañeda. Survived by her son, Roy R. Andrade, Sr.; daughter, Rosalie A. Sinteral; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Rosemary; brothers, Simon and Jesus Castañeda. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rachel worked many years for TUSD at Manzo Elementary School as a Paraprofessional. She touched the hearts of many children.
