Pedro Alejandro "Chapo" Navallez at the age of 83 gained his wings in the early morning hours on January 2, 2026, Surrounded by his loved ones.
Born February 26, 1943, in Douglas, AZ. A beloved Son, Brother, Father, Nino, Tata, Great Tata and Great Great Tata. The eldest son to beloved Pedro L. and Estela Navallez of Nacozari, Mexico.
Preceded in death by children; Paul Armando, Jose Luis, Susanne and son-in-law Michael Fauson, Brother; Armando "Scooter", Grandson; Manual "Boongie" Quijada and his beloved Esther G. Badilla
Survived by children; Blanca, Charlie (Nora), Veronica (Refugio), Alex (Rebecca), Joe (Yolanda) Coleman and daughter-in-law, Ann Frances Navallez;

Pedro known by many as "Chapo" or "Alex" was a concrete mason and took pride in his many projects he completed. He also worked the voting polls during elections for many years. He believed in earning his way, always giving more than he received. He looked forward to his daily rides around town on the city bus in the later years of his life.
He will always be remembered for his love of music, humor, wisdom and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He also used to refer to himself as "Chapo the Greek."
