Patricia (Pat) Ruth Koyn Spears was born on October 22, 1927, to Catherine and Walter Koyn, and died on Monday, September 8, 2025. She married Charles Spears on June 28, 1947, and they enjoyed dancing and going on adventures in their motor home. She loved bowling, playing cards, and playing shuffleboard.

Pat was the loving mother of six children, grandmother to seven, great-grandmother to 11, and great-great-grandmother to two.

Aside from nurturing her family, Pat went to Loretto Academy in Chicago and worked as a secretary at Park-Davis Pharmaceuticals and in multiple and progressive roles at Pure Oil/Union Oil/Unocal.

She will forever be missed.
