IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia A.
Mac Donald
August 16, 1941 – April 4, 2024
Patricia Ann Mac Donald (fondly called Patty or Pat) a beloved daughter, sister, Aunt, great Aunt, GodMother and caring friend went to be with her Lord on April 4, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on August 16, 1941 in Beavercreek, Ohio to Ruth Dunn and James Mac Donald and was the second of five children.
She is survived by her sister, Connie Ross; brother, James (Gloria) Mac Donald; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great- niece; GodDaughter, Colleen Green, and lifelong best friend, Linda Kopytek. She is loved by many whom she adopted into her family without hesitation.
Pat worked for Monsanto as an accountant for 33 years and retired early at the age of 50. As a woman of strong Catholic faith she spent time in prayer and enjoyed teaching Bible study to those seeking to know about our God. She is a member of the Third order of Mary. After going to Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at a chapel, she was Called to be a mystic around the age of 30 and received messages from the Blessed Mother and Saint Joan of Arc. A mystic is one who uses her senses through contemplation and self-surrender to gain unity with the Divine. Without including mystics in our culture, we would self-destruct through lack of love and imagination.
She loved researching American history and published her own book titled, "A Historical Adventure: Two Orphans, Columbus, and the New World." She truly cared about others and was always motivated to lend a helping hand, often using humor as a tool of healing. In her later years she became a regular at many breakfast establishments and loved to socialize with other patrons and restaurant staff who were happy to see her every weekday morning.
Pat will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the chance to interact with her. She will be greatly missed every day especially for her kind countenance and loving nature. The writings she left for all are gifts that will continue to instruct and inspire for generations to come.
