Patricia A. Ferguson-Ward (Patty) passed away surrounded by family and dear friends on June 29th, 2021. She's preceded in death by her mother, Eve Ferguson; father, Thomas Ferguson; uncle, Alex Aguirre; and aunt, Socorro Aguirre. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Ward; daughters, Sarah, Antonia, and Andrea (Phil) Welsh; brother, Tom Ferguson; half-sister, Joyce Kaestner; uncle, George Aguirre; cousin, Ana (Mark) Benford, as well as other family and friends. A rosary will be held on July 31st, at 1 pm with a mass immediately following at St. Margaret Mary Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. There will be a potluck at Sarah's home at 5 pm to celebrate Patty's life. Mom never knew a stranger, once you were brought into her world she held you close and many friends became more like family. While her physical presence will be sorely missed, she instilled in her children strong roots so we know exactly where we come from but she also encouraged each of us to grow strong wings so that we may go wherever it is that we choose.
