IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pablo G.
Zamora
June 29, 1934 – November 5, 2025
Pablo Zamora, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home in Tucson, Arizona, on November 5, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Pablo immigrated to the United States in 1956, fulfilling his dream of seeking a better life for himself and his future children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ofelia Lizarraga Zamora; his children Rebecca Zamora (Martin), Pablo Zamora (Patricia), and Ophelia Zamora (Joshua); and his cherished grandchildren Olivia, Adrianna, JJ, and Emelina along with his beloved step-grandchildren Krista Romero, Dimetrius Romero, and Ariel Romero.
Pablo was an entrepreneur who worked in sales and made his living as a television technician. Known for his skill, dedication, and integrity, he built a respected career serving his community. In his later years, he continued to tinker with electronics and could often be found repairing household devices, always curious and eager to understand how things worked.
A lifelong music lover, Pablo found great joy in sharing his passion with others. He was a gifted storyteller who delighted in recounting his life experiences to family and friends. A strong advocate for higher education, he instilled in his children and grandchildren a deep appreciation for learning and personal growth, believing in the power of education to transform lives. His greatest pride was seeing all of his children graduate from college, a reflection of the value he placed on education and perseverance.
Above all, Pablo was a devoted family man who found his greatest happiness in spending time with his loved ones. His love for his family was of the highest importance to him, and he took immense pride in the close bond they shared. He often said that the greatest wealth a person can possess is the fortune of good health—a belief he lived by and lovingly passed down to his family, along with his example of unconditional love, support, and gratitude for life's simplest joys.
Over the years, he developed a deep love for animals and will be dearly missed by his loyal canine companions, Shakira and Sweetie.
Pablo will be remembered for his warmth, humor, curiosity, and the love he shared so freely with all who knew him.
