Oscar F Mendivil, age 68, passed away on April 20, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona. Born September 3, 1956 in Hermosillo, Sonora. Oscar proudly graduated from Tucson High School in 1975 and immediately immersed himself into the USMC, a testament to his discipline and patriotism. He eventually retired from TUSD as a heavy equipment operator.  Oscar led a life marked by generosity and a deep love for his family. Oscar loved oldies music and the joyous gatherings around Carne Asadas with his family. Oscar coached his daughter's softball teams at Las Niñas Bobby Sox and his son's baseball teams at Los Niños Little League as well as basketball at the YMCA. Family was the cornerstone of Oscar's life and he enjoyed cheering on grandkids at their many sporting events. He is survived by his children. Marisela, Monica, Melissa (Julio) and Oscar Jr (Marylin). His grandchildren, Mario, Rene, Mariana, Julissa, Osvaldo, Julian, Avianna, Jacob, Dominic, great grandson Emilio and his former wife MaryAnn. As well as half brothers and sisters and step siblings and many other relatives. Oscar is proceeded in death by his mother Juanita Mosman and stepfather Merle Mosman. Oscar will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and his love for the Arizona Wildcats. His legacy of love and Service will continue to live on through his family and all those he touched.
