With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Oscar Islas Jr., who entered eternal rest on January 21, 2026. He was born on December 24, 1963, and will be remembered for a life rooted in love, devotion, and family.

Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Islas; his mother, Silvia Islas; his brother, Miguel, and his sister, Susanna. He also leaves behind his children, Delisa, Oscar III, Eddica, Romeo, and Ezayah; his stepchildren, Veronica and Jimmy; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him deep joy and meaning throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Islas Sr., and his brother, Roman Islas.

A celebration of Oscar's life will be held on Friday, February 6th. Services will begin with a viewing at 8:00 AM at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary, South Chapel, followed by the rosary at 9:00 AM. A Mass in his honor will be celebrated at St. Augustine Cathedral at 10:00 AM.

Oscar will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
