He is survived by his parents, Naomi Garcia and Gerardo Garcia Pineda; Grandparents, Gilberto Delgado, Priscilla Bueno and Delida Alarcon; Sisters, Yesenia A. Garcia, Lidia A. Garcia and Amaris E. Garcia; Brothers, Eli N. Rivera, Luis A. Garcia and Christopher U. Garcia. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Obed was a natural at playing the drums, he never took drum lessons. He had a passion for music, was very sociable and had a big heart. He loved God. For many years he played the drums for several churches. He will be missed.
