IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Naomi T.
Tellez
April 29, 1936 – December 2, 2025
Naomi "Memi" "Noni" Tellez, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on April 29, 1936, she lived a long and vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Anselmo and Ramona Trujillo, her husband of 55 years, Angel "Ruly" Tellez, her son Ruben, and her siblings, Bertha, Enrique, Oscar, Willy, Sylvia, and Ruth; all of whom undoubtedly greeted her with open arms and probably a little teasing, just the way she liked it.
She is survived by her sons Raul "Bernie"(Celina) and Roland (Jody), her grandchildren Roman (Celeste), Anna-Alyse, Roland, Noah, and Jennifer (Westin) and her great-grandchildren; Roman II, Gia, Soleil, and Archer, lovingly known as "her stinkers"kept her laughing and bragging nonstop. Siblings; Art (Joanne) and Ike as well as many nieces and nephews.
Known for her unforgettable spicy attitude, Naomi carried a spark that brought warmth, humor, and honesty wherever she went. Her home was always immaculate, so clean you could've eaten off the floor (but don't even think about leaving fingerprints on anything). Those lucky enough to gather in her kitchen will never forget her famous bean burritos, made with love and unmatched by any recipe.
She found joy in the little things that made life full, her beloved Mexican novelas, which she watched with passion and emotion, and her cherished visits to the casino, where she laughed, hoped, and enjoyed the thrill of the moment.
Naomi "Memi" "Noni" Tellez leaves behind a family who adored her, a collection of sparkling-clean memories, and a legacy of laughter, love, and just the right amount of feistiness. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and talked about for generations exactly as she would have wanted.
Our family extends our deepest appreciation to The Grove's Staff at Peach Tree House, for the exceptional care, compassion, and love they showed Noni. Irene,Guille and Michelle, you made the last week bearable. Norma, thank you for all your help and always having Noni's best interest in mind.
