Naomi was born March 4, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona.  She passed away with her family by her side on September 2, 2024.
Her journey through life was marked by her unwavering love of God and dedication to her family.  She is a true testament of
spiritual guidance, resilience and unconditional love.

Naomi was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Canchola (Zelin), son Anthony Cardenas (Irene), son Richard Cardenas (Christina), 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her sisters Elizabeth Fielder (Mike) and Marie Pauline Garcia (David, deceased), along with countless nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and her friends that we her prayer warriors.  She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Emilia Mercado.
