Nancy Jean Figueroa, 76, was born on May 5, 1948, and returned to our Heavenly home on December 23, 2024. She is preceded in her return to our Heavenly Father by her husband, Phillip E. Figueroa; her son Greg Figueroa, her parents, Augustine and Esther Romero; her brother, Raul L. Romero; and her spiritual daughter, Tamara Rae.

Nancy is survived by her son, Phillip R. Figueroa; her daughter, Denise Martinez (Victor); her son, Ron Figueroa (Nikki); her sister, Irene Cortez (Robert); her brother, Oscar Romero (Jo Ann); her sister, Rebecca Watson (Byron); and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was a determined businesswoman who never let anything stop her from achieving her dreams. She was a fiercely loving family member, deeply dedicated to her roles as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin. Her vibrant personality was felt by all, and she had a remarkable ability to connect and create friendships with anyone. Nancy Figueroa graduated from Tucson High School in 1966 and loved meeting with the reunion club. Though she stood only 5'0", her immense spirit and presence filled the hearts of all those around her.

Guided by faith and the principles of love, Nancy's devotion illuminated the lives of her family and friends. The Figueroa home was a sanctuary of warmth and generosity, offering all rest, laughter, nourishment, and togetherness. Nancy and Phil joyfully hosted numerous festive gatherings, including barbecues, dances, and celebrations, reflecting their deep love for family.

To honor Nancy's memory, a Rosary will be offered at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, located at 192 S. Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ, on Friday, January 3, 2025.
