Miguel Tovarez, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 28, 1943.

Miguel was preceded in death by his parents, Eustorgio Tovarez and Cipriana Romero; Wife, Guadalupe Tovarez; Brothers, Lorenzo, Ralph, and Gabriel Tovarez.

At the age of 18, Miguel answered the call to serve his country and was drafted into the United States Army, where he proudly served for six years. A devoted Veteran, he carried his sense of duty and service with him throughout his life. Miguel was also a man of great faith, and his love for music, particularly his passion for playing the guitar played a central role in his life. He shared this gift with his church community, playing in numerous choirs and bringing joy to all who heard him. His music was not just a talent, but an extension of his spirit and generosity, always willing to give of himself to others.

Miguel is survived by his Daughters, Nora and Nancy; Siblings; Rosa Romero Rojas, Carmen Romero, Joe Romero, Linda Romero Rojas and Henry Flores; many nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and devotion, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Miguel's life will be held on March 28th, 2025 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1211 E 15th St. Douglas, Az 85607. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am, with a memorial Mass offered at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1501 E 5th St. Douglas, Az 85607.
